Privacy Policy

Last updated:

At LodgeStatus, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your data when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support. This includes: name, email address, property information, billing details, and operational data generated through your use of the platform. We also collect usage data automatically, including log files, device identifiers, and analytics to help us improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; process transactions; send technical notices and support messages; respond to comments and questions; and send marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time. After account cancellation, data is available for export for 30 days, after which it is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers.

4. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. LodgeStatus uses AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We are SOC 2 Type II certified and undergo regular third-party security audits. Access to production systems is limited and logged. Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our platform and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Disabling cookies may impact the functionality of certain features of the LodgeStatus platform.

6. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services such as payment processors, analytics providers, and channel managers. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

7. GDPR & International Transfers

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We provide Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) for all customers and offer data residency options in the EU. Personal data transfers outside the EEA are made under appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@lodgestatus.co. We will respond to all requests within 30 days. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and, where the changes are significant, by email. Your continued use of LodgeStatus after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@lodgestatus.co or write to us at 1400 Broadway, Suite 2100, New York, NY 10018.
